Official Course Description

ENEE380 (PermReq) Electromagnetic Theory; (3 credits) Grade Method: REG. Prerequisites: MATH 241 and PHYS 263 and completion of all lower-division technical courses in the EE curriculum. See above note. Introduction to electromagnetic fields. Coulomb's law, Gauss's law, electrical potential, dielectricmaterials capacitance, boundary value problems, Biot-Savart law, Ampere's law, Lorentz force equation, magnetic materials, magnetic circuits, inductance, time varying fields and Maxwell's equations. ENEE majors (09090) only.
