Alumnus Black Joins American University Faculty

ECE alumnus Michael Black (Ph.D., '07) has joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science at American University in Washington, DC. He currently serves as assistant professor.

Black's research and teaching focus is in the areas of computer architecture and parallel computing. During his time at the University of Maryland, Michael was advised by Professor Manoj Franklin. As a student, he served on the board of the ECE Graduate Student Association (ECEGSA).
