Three Students Selected as Distinguished Dissertation Fellows

Three Ph.D. students from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) have been selected as ECE Distinguished Dissertation Fellows for the 2008-09 academic year. The three students are: Ms. Enlu Zhou (Advisor: Professor Steve Marcus; Co-Advisor: Professor Michael Fu); Mr. Pavan Turaga (Advisor: Professor Rama Chellappa); and Mr. Aswin Sankaranarayanan (Advisor: Professor Rama Chellappa).

The fellowships are awarded to outstanding students in the final stages of their dissertation work in recognition of excellence in research. This year, each fellow will receive $5,000.
