Poster Session - General Information and Instructions

When is the Poster Session?

The “formal” Poster Session and Opening Reception are scheduled for the first evening of the conference on Wednesday, December 9th from 6-8:30 pm.  Since there are more than 110 poster presentations, we suggest that authors with odd numbered posters (i.e. WP9-01-01, WP9-01-03, WP9-01-05, etc.) be at their poster from 6-7:15 pm. We suggest that authors with even numbered posters (i.e. WP9-01-02, WP9-01-04, WP9-01-06, etc.) be present at their poster from 7:15-8:30 pm.

Where will the posters be located?

Posters will be on display in the Grand Ballroom.  This location, combined with the refreshment breaks and lunch, will allow for good exposure and good interactions.

When can the posters be mounted?

Presenters can mount their posters between 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 9th.  We encourage authors to mount their posters as soon as possible before the sessions begin on Wednesday afternoon.  We will provide push pins to mount the posters.

Is the Opening Reception and Poster Session on Wednesday evening the only time posters can be viewed?

No. The posters will be up in the Grand Ballroom for the entire conference. We encourage participants to view the posters during coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and free time.

What is the size of the poster?

Posters should be no larger than 4 x 4 feet (1.22 x 1.22 meters). We recommend a size of 3.5 x 3.5 feet (1 x 1 meter).

How are the posters organized?

There are more than 110 posters at ISDRS 2009. The posters will be organized by session code.  Simply find your assigned session code and mount your poster.
