Each year the two-day February Fourier Talks (FFT), organized by the Norbert Wiener Center in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, feature a diverse array of invited talks in the field of Harmonic Analysis and Applications. A single track of presentations from top academic, industry, and government researchers is scheduled, allowing ample time for interaction with other participants.

We also have an exciting program planned for Thursday evening. Highlights feature a Professor Ronald DeVore of Texas AM University, who we welcome as the Norbert Wiener Distinguished Lecturer.  The Distinguished Lecture is followed by a general audience keynote lecture by Professor Nathan Crone of the John Hopkins University Medical School. Dr. Corne's talk will be preceded by a brief overview of this year's activity at the Norbert Wiener Center. A light reception will begin at 7:30 pm in the Mathematics building Rotunda.  There will also be a poster session open to graduate students and postdocs throughout the afternoon.

This year we are pleased to announce Dr. Alexander Barg (UMCP, Department of ECE/ISR) as one of our speakers.

Enrollment is open (and free to university students and faculty!) at www.fft2014.org
