Sharon M. Betz received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and mathematics from Johns Hopkins University in 2003 and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Princeton University in 2005 and 2008. While pursuing her Ph.D. she interned at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Lincoln Laboratory. After finishing her Ph.D. she was a post-doctoral researcher at Supelec, near Paris, France. She is currently a Senior Signal Processing Engineer at the MITRE Corporation. Her research interests include wireless communications, energy-efficient communications, and game theory.

Refreshments will begin 10 minutes prior to the talk.
