Prof. Xiaobo Tan

Prof. Xiaobo Tan

ECE alumnus and Michigan State University (MSU) Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Xiaobo Tan received the Teacher-Scholar Award at MSU's Awards Convocation ceremony. The university-wide award is given to faculty who have earned the respect of students and colleagues early in their careers for their devotion to teaching and scholarly promise. Tan is one of only six faculty at MSU to receive the award this year.

Tan earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2002. He was advised by Professor John Baras (ECE/ISR) and Professor P.S. Krishnaprasad (ECE/ISR).
