This week's U.S. News & World Report 2009 edition of "America's Best Colleges" ranks the Clark School's undergraduate program 21st in the nation, four spots up from last year's ranking. The Clark School ranks 8th in the nation among public engineering programs.
The Clark School's undergraduate aerospace engineering program was up one spot, ranked 9th among similar programs.
Entrepreneurship programs offered by the Clark School and the Smith School also received a spot in the Top 10, ranking 9th.
Last April, the Clark School's graduate engineering programs were collectively ranked 17th in the nation and 10th among all public universities in the U.S News and World's 2009 Best Graduate Schools. The electrical engineering program at the University of Maryland was ranked 14th in the nation and 7th among public universities, and 1st among all public universities in the Northeast, and the computer engineering program was ranked 16th in the nation, 8th among public universities, and 1st among all public universities in the Northeast.
