Abshire, Murphy, and Simon Earn Tenure

University of Maryland President C.D. Mote has approved the promotion of Assistant Professors Pamela Abshire, Thomas Murphy and Jonathan Simon to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure.

"We look forward to working with them for many decades to come," said Patrick O'Shea, professor and chair of the ECE Department.

The promotions are effective as of July 1, 2008.
