Alumnus Ghanadan Named Engineering Fellow at BAE Systems

Dr. Reza Ghanadan

Dr. Reza Ghanadan was named Engineering Fellow at BAE Systems, a Clark School Corporate Partner and ECE Corporate Affiliate company. His expertise at the company is in the area of Electronics and Integrated Solutions.

Ghanadan received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (1993), M.S. in Electrical Engineering (1990), and two B.S. degrees in Electrical Eng. & Physics (1988) both Summa Cum Laude, all from University of Maryland College Park. During his time at Maryland, he was advised by Prof. Gilmer Blankenship.

A BAE Systems Electronics & Integrated Solutions Fellow is a title conferred upon approximately only 1% of engineers and scientists at BAE. The honor is offered to those who have consistently demonstrated extraordinary technical expertise, creativity and contributions within their technical discipline.

An employee chosen as an Engineering Fellow should exhibit consistent and extraordinary creativity and excellence of achievement spanning at least 15 years of professional experience including five years with BAE Systems. The candidate must have experience in different phases of program/technology development and have established a technical reputation as a renowned expert both within the company and throughout their technical discipline nationally.
