Ulukus Receives NSF Grant for Wireless Security Research
Assistant Professor Sennur Ulukus (ECE/ISR) has received a research grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for her work with Prof. Aylin Yener from Penn State University on wireless security. The grant is a three-year, $240,000 award.
The research investigates the fundamental design principles of high capacity wireless systems that ensure secure information delivery for multiple users. The research includes the development of a comprehensive framework for the design of the multiuser physical layer that aims at achieving high capacity and secure transmissions for all users, preventing intruders and eavesdroppers from disrupting or intercepting communications.
Ulukus was also recently awarded an NSF Early Career Development CAREER award for her research on wireless networks.
