YouTube channel highlights Maryland Robotics Center research

The Maryland Robotics Center has been hard at work adding new videos to its YouTube Channel. The center, part of the A. James Clark School of Engineering's Institute for Systems Research, launched the channel in 2010 to publicize its research.

Center Director S.K. Gupta (ME/ISR) hopes that the channel will make robotics research more visible to the general public. "This channel is a showcase of the wide variety of robotics research we're involved in here at Maryland," he said. "In one place you can see the results of our work in miniature robotics, unmanned vehicles, medical robotics, robots that work in extreme environments, and robots that are collaborative, cooperative and networked."

The channel currently contains more than 50 videos showcasing research in many of the center’s 18 labs. Visit the channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/UMDRobotics.
