Horiuchi Research Featured in Wired Magazine

Prof. Timothy Horiuchi works on micro-air vehicle research.

Associate Professor Timothy Horiuchi (ECE/ISR) was featured in an article on the Wired magazine website about military research aimed at creating small drones, or micro-air vehicles, that can take on the powers and shapes of animals. Researchers like Horiuchui are working to develop robots that are able to see like bugs and hear like bats.

The article mentions Horiuichi's efforts to get computers to emulate bats' echolation capabilities, citing the robotic "batmobiles" he has built to test his circuits.
