Bhattacharyya Selected for Fulbright Grant

Shuvra Bhattacharyya

Associate Professor Shuvra Bhattacharyya (ECE/UMIACS) has been selected for a Fulbright Senior Specialists Grant in Information Technology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. The grant will provide support for Bhattacharyya to teach a short course on hardware and software design methodology for digital signal processing systems at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg this December.

Founded by the U.S. government in 1946, Fulbright grants are awarded on behalf of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State, and the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). As a Fulbright grant winner, Bhattacharyya joins the ranks of distinguished scholars and professionals worldwide who are leaders in the educational, political, economic, social and cultural development of their countries.
