Vishkin Offers Fresh Perspective on Commodity Computing in ACM Viewpoint

Uzi Vishkin, a professor of electrical and computer engineering with an appointment in UMIACS, just published a viewpoint paper and video in the April 2014 issue of Communications of the ACM (CACM).

Vishkin’s presentation offers a critical look at the some of the current shortcomings in parallel computing, particularly as it relates to commodity computing.
