My Hero

My hero is Jesus Christ. He was born in a poor family, spent most of his life as a carpenter, and was an itinerant preacher for just over 3 years; yet the influence He has had on the human population is tremendous; no other person has had such an influence. Today, after about 2000 years, His followers are still willing to be persecuted and martyred in different parts of the world.

When Mikail Gorbachev was recently asked (in an interview) who he considered was the most influential person to live on this planet, he said that it must be Jesus Christ.

The Man of the Century

There is only one person who deserves the title ``Most Important Man of the Century.'' Many will disagree, while millions and millions will agree. He has been the most influential, most important, most powerful person not only for this century, but for many centuries in the past---and He will always be the most important person in this universe. Even though he has been the most important person of all time, many have gone against Him and against the people that follow Him. Just in this century alone more people have died for Him than in all past centuries combined. He is the Man of the Century just because of who He is, not to mention the great things He has done. This Man of the Century, in this century, has given sight to the blind, He has healed the sick, He has raised the dead and most important of all, He has given eternal life to millions and millions of people.

It does not matter what anyone thinks, this ``Man of the Century'' is the most important person in the universe, He always has been and He always will be. Though this man died nearly 2000 years ago, He still lives in those that follow Him today. He has the power over life and death. The most important man of the century has created time itself. He cannot be messed with! This ``Champion of the World'' is also the most loving person that ever lived. He died for our sins and rose again so that if we follow Him, we can live forever. The Man of the Century always has been and always will be for every other century to come. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He is my best friend and He can be yours too if you ask Him to. He is Jesus Christ. He's the man.
