Nate Goergen, Ph.D.     
 research
My research interests include Cognitive Radio (CR), Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA), signal processing, and physical layer security of wireless signals. My current research with Prof. K. J. Ray Liu considers various watermarking approaches for digital communications, for the purpose of signal authentication. I am also interested in Software-Defined Radio (SDR) and cooperative communications, with an emphasis on signal processing considerations. The computational aspects of these technologies, including implementation considerations when mapping SDR designs onto modern compute platforms, are also of interest.
