Problems of Information Transmission (English for "Problemy Peredachi
Informatsii") is an international journal published by the Russian Academy
of Sciences. The scope of the journal is roughly the same as of
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, with emphasis on the
mathemetical aspects.
Vol. 1 (1965)-- present date (one volume, 4 issues, is published each year).
Full text of papers in Russian with a rolling delay of 3 years is available from
MathNet.ru (no subscription required).
A cover-to-cover English translation of the journal (ISSN: 0032-9460) was published by Plenum Publishers
prior to 1999. Presently the English version of the journal is distributed by
Springer Verlag. Full text of papers published since 2001 is available to
subscribers from SpringerLink.com.
