Visiting the Department

The University of Maryland is located just a few miles northeast of Washington, D.C., 30 miles (45 km) south of Baltimore, and 30 miles (45 km) west of Annapolis (see Directions below). The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department's administrative offices are located on the second floor of the A.V. Williams Building (Bldg. 115) across from the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building, located on Paint Branch Drive.

Directions to the ECE Department on the University of Maryland Campus

From the Capital Beltway, Rt. 495, take Exit 25 (Route 1 South) toward College Park. Follow Route 1 South approximately 2 miles and turn right at the Paint Branch Parkway traffic light into the University of Maryland entrance. Make an immediate right onto Paint Branch Drive, and proceed straight past one stop sign. The A.V. Williams Building is the next building on the right side, directly across the street from the Jeong H. Kim Building on the left. Parking is available at an hourly fee in the Paint Branch Drive Visitor Lot ahead on the left.
