1. Key Distribution
   • Research Laboratories

     1. Principal Investigators and Full Time Research Staff

     • Unlimited Access Card or Key provided (Level 1)

     1. General Safety Training and Laboratory Specific Safety Training are taken and documented
     2. All Laboratory Safety requirements are completed.
     3. ECE Safety Checklist filled out and kept on file
     4. Keys require $10 deposit in addition to above.

     2. Graduate Research Assistant

     • Unlimited Access Card provided (Level 1)

     1. General Safety Training and Laboratory Specific Safety Training are taken and documented.
     2. ECE Safety Checklist filled out and kept on file.

     3. Undergraduate RAs (paid or unpaid)

     • Card Access from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM provided (Level 3)

     1. General Safety Training and Laboratory Specific Safety Training are taken and documented.
     2. ECE Safety Checklist filled out and kept on file.

     4. Higher Levels

     • Higher level of access may be granted, subject to review, at request of the Principal Investigator.

     5. Keys will NOT be provided for Undergraduates

   • Teaching Laboratories

     1. Faculty

     • Unlimited Card Access (Level 1)

     • Keys provided for current course instructor only.

     2. Graduate TA / Undergraduate Teaching Fellow

     • Card Access from 7:45 AM to Midnight 7 days a week, only for lab current teaching assignment (Level 2)

     • No keys will be given out for Teaching Laboratories

     3. Undergraduate Students

     • ENEE 2XX and 3XX: Access provided from 8Am to 6 PM Monday through Friday in the presence of a TA or Technical Operations Staff, for students currently enrolled in course.

     • ENEE 4XX: Card access provided from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday for students currently enrolled. (Level 3)

   • General Use Facilities (Computer Labs Etc)

     1. Faculty, Staff and All Students

     • Computer Labs inside A.V. Williams (Jasmine - 2448 & Sun- 1442 labs): Open from 8 AM to Midnight; card access for all with University ID other times.

     • Student Service Facility (0305 EAB): Card access from 7:45 AM to Midnight, 7 days a week. (Level 2).

   • Office Space

     1. Faculty/Staff

     • Keys will be given for assigned office space.

     • Keys are to be returned upon vacating office space.

     2. Graduate Students

     • Card or Key Access will be given for assigned office space as appropriate.

     • A $10 deposit will be required for keys.

     • In order to redeem deposit keys must to be returned upon vacating office space.

     3. Undergraduate Students

     • No Keys or Card Access as they should not be assigned office space.

   • Levels of Card Access

     • Level 1: 24/7 + holidays

     • Level 2: 7:45 AM – Midnight + holidays

     • Level 3: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
