ECE Faculty and Staff Honored at Commencement

Three Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) faculty and staff members were honored with three prestigious awards at the Clark School Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 21.

ECE Executive Director of Operations Teresa Moore received the Clark School Staff Service Award for her outstanding work and leadership.

Prof. Min Wu received the E. Robert Kent Junior Faculty Teaching Award. This award is given each year to a junior faculty member for excellence in teaching.

Prof. Adrian Papamarcou received the Pool & Kent Senior Faculty Teaching Award. This award is given each year to a senior faculty member for excellence in teaching.

"ECE is proud to have distinguished colleagues that excel in education and service," said ECE Department Chairman Dr. Patrick O'Shea. "These three embody the principle of exceeding expectations in all we do."

The Commencement speaker was Wanda Austin, president and CEO of Aerospace Corporation, an ECE Corporate Affiliate company.
