Chellappa Article Recognized As One of Most Cited in Computer Science

Prof. Rama Chellappa

A paper co-authored by ECE Professor Rama Chellappa has been recognized by Thomson-ISI as one of the most cited recent papers in the field of Computer Science. The article, titled "Face recognition: A literature survey," was co-authored by Chellappa, W. Zhao, P.J. Phillips, and A. Rosenfeld and published in the journal ACM Computer Surveys in December, 2003. The paper provides a critical survey of still- and video-based face recognition research.
