Distinguished University Professor Anthony Ephremides (ECE/ISR) is the founding editor of Foundations and Trends in Networking (FnT Networking), a computer networks and communications journal that has recently been ranked first in its class by Scopus Journal Ranking (SJR).

Different from the ISI ranking, the SCImago Journal Ranking is a measure of the journals impact, influence, or prestige. It expresses the average number of weighted citations received in the selected year by the documents published in the journal over the three previous years.

FnT Networking will publish survey and tutorial articles on the following topics:

-          Modeling and Analysis of:

  • Ad Hoc Wireless Networks
  • Sensor Networks
  • Optical Networks
  • Local Area Networks
  • Satellite and Hybrid Networks
  • Cellular Networks

-          Internet and Web Services

-          Protocols and Cross-Layer Design

-          Network Coding

-          Energy-Efficiency Incentivies/Pricing/Utility Based

-          Games (co-operative or not)

-          Security

-          Scalability

-          Topology

-          Control/Graph-theoretic models

-          Dynamics and Asymptotic Behavior of Networks

FnT Networking publishes high-quality survey and tutorial monographs of the field using modern techniques to enable both instant linking to the primary research in its electronic form and affordable hard copies.
