Bhattacharyya Paper Earns Award at IEEE Workshop

Professor Shuvra Bhattacharyya was the co-author of a paper that received the Best Student Paper Award at the 2007 IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS 2007), held in Shanghai, China in October. The paper was titled "Low-overhead run-time scheduling for fine-grained acceleration of signal processing systems."

The student who co-authored the paper was Jani Boutellier of Oulu University, Finland, who visited Prof. Bhattacharyya's research group in 2007 to work on research related to the paper.
