Alumnus Dorsey Contributes to New Book on GPS

ECE alumnus Arthur J. Dorsey is the co-author of a chapter in a new text book on global positioning systems (GPS). Dorsey contributed to the third chapter, titled “GPS System Segments,” in the new edition of the book Understanding GPS Principles and Applications, published by Artech House, Inc.

Dorsey, who received his B.S. in 1974 and his M.S. in 1978 from the University of Maryland, was advised by ECE Professor William Levine. He currently works with Lockheed Martin Corporation.
