Bhattacharyya Awarded Nokia Distinguished Lecturer Grant

Associate Professor Shuvra Bhattacharyya (ECE/UMIACS) has been awarded a Nokia Distinguished Lecturer Grant for distinguished lectures in 2006 at Oulu University and the Tampere University of Technology in Finland.

Dr. Bhattacharyya was also recently awarded a Fulbright Senior Specialists Grant to teach a short course at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.

The objective of the Nokia Distinguished Lecturer Grant is to facilitate internationally renowned lecturers' visits to Finland, providing world-class short courses for students. More information can be found on the Nokia website.
