ECE Department Participates in Seventh Annual Maryland Day

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) offered Maryland Day visitors a look at how its faculty and students are changing the world with new technological innovations.

Despite a rainy, overcast day, a large turnout came for the annual Maryland Day festivities on Saturday, April 30. Guests participated in a full day of learning activities for visitors of all ages. The ECE department offered tours of five of its high tech labs—the Center for Satellite and Hybrid Communications Networks Lab, the Control Systems Lab, the Intelligent Servosystems Lab, the Maryland Optics Group Lab, and the Micro-Electro Mecanical Systems Sensors and Actuators Lab—and greeted guests outside the Clark School of Engineering's Glenn L. Martin Hall.
