The American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE)'s Prism magazine profiles university president and mechanical engineering professor C.D. Mote, Jr. in its November issue.

The article details Mote's rise to the helm of the College Park campus after a fundraising stint at the University of California, Berkeley. The profile describes Mote's recent work towards promoting science and engineering in the United States in conjunction with the National Academies.
