Biography:
Ankur Srivastava is an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland College Park in the VLSI Design Automation and Embedded Systems area. He received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 1998, and the M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northwestern University in 2000 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California Los Angeles in 2002. He also recieved the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Computer Science Department of UCLA in 2002.
Dr Srivastava is a member of IEEE and ACM and also serves as reviewer for several journals including IEEE transactions on CAD and IEEE Transactions on VLSI. He is in the technical program committe for ICCAD, ICCD and GLSVLSI.
Research Interests:
Dr Srivastava's research areas include VLSI design automation techniques and algorithms for low power and high performance integrated systems. His primary focus is on fabrication variability and manufacturability concerns in VLSI. He is also working on low power sensing strategies for real time tracking applications.
