Biography:

Peter Petrov is an assistant professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of the University of Maryland at College Park in the Computer Engineering group. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with honors from Sofia University, Bulgaria in 1996 and 1998, and his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Petrov served as Program Chair and General Chair for the Workshop on Application Specific Processors.

Research Interests:

His research interests focus on all aspects of application specific processors, embedded systems, and hardware/software codesign. He teaches graduate and undergraduate classes on computer architecture and application specific processors.
