The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Lab is an advanced research and development laboratory at the University of Maryland, College Park. The CATT Lab’s research provides a bridge between the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) community and the information technology community. The CATT Lab specializes in data archiving, data retrieval and visualization, 3D modeling and simulation, software development, and other advanced technologies. The CATT Lab prides itself on being innovative and creative problem solvers with a strong will to “raise the bar” for the transportation R&D community. The primary resource of the CATT Lab is the interdisciplinary group of over 50 undergraduate and graduate researchers and talented staff.
