Participating Employer Profile:
PCTEST Engineering Laboratory

Company Website: http:/www.pctestlab.com

Company Description: Founded by former FCC engineers, PCTEST Engineering Laboratory Inc. was established in 1989 on the principle of providing manufacturers with a much needed independent facility, fully capable of testing to a comprehensive set of FCC regulatory technical requirements and getting the job right—the first time.

Distinctive to its initial pioneering efforts, in 2011 PCTEST became a Verizon Wireless Authorized Test Facility for LTE. This complements our wide array of testing services providing leadership in SAR, HAC, OTA, and testing lithium batteries of wireless devices in accordance with IEEE 1725 and 1625 for CTIA certification all under one-roof. PCTEST remains the chosen test house of major cellphone and electronic manufacturers worldwide.

In July 2011, PCTEST Lab became a Verizon Wireless Authorized, Independent Test Lab for LTE (Long Term Evolution) Device Conformance Testing Services. This monumental achievement authenticates PCTEST Lab as a recognized test facility for 4G LTE devices and provides a clear path for manufacturers to accelerate their LTE™ deployment schedules for use on the Verizon Wireless network.

PCTEST Lab has become one of the few test facilities performing LTE™ conformance test supporting RF, RRM and Protocol Conformance for Verizon Wireless lab entry requirements, as well as, providing GCF Certification of E-UTRA devices. Earlier this year, PCTEST pioneered the world’s first test facility to perform Over-The-Air Testing of GPS in LTE™ 4G devices.
