Clancy, T. Charles
Dr. Clancy's research interests revolve around next-generation wireless networks. His specific interests include software-defined radio and cognitive radio, WLAN and WMAN standards, and security in wireless networks.
T. Charles Clancy is a Senior Researcher with the Laboratory for Telecommunications Sciences, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland at College Park. He received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2001), his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2002), and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park (2006). He is a member of the IEEE and ACM, and serves in a variety of technical leadership positions within the IETF security directorate.
