Los Alamos National Lab is a Department of Energy national lab. It is one of the largest science and technology institutions in the world. It conducts multidisciplinary research in fields such as national security, space exploration, renewable energy, medicine, nanotechnology, and supercomputing.

The Intelligence and Space Division is an integral part of the Threat Identification and Response Directorate and our mission is to make the world more secure by applying world-class science and engineering to national security challenges through the creation, delivery, and support of innovative detection and energy-projection systems for remote applications in space and around the world.

We are actively recruiting entry level and early career engineers in aerospace, electrical, materials, and mechanical engineering.

We have multiple postdoc job openings at the moment (Space Science & Applications Postdoc, Space Plasma Physics Postdoc, Visible and Infrared Remote Sensing Postdoc, Radio-frequency Remote Sensing Postdoc), as well as few staff positions (R&D Engineer for System Integration, and Electrical Design Engineer for Space-Based Detection Systems).

Some of the staff positions require citizenship, however we have a thriving foreign national component to our postdoc program, so all are welcome.

Please bring your resume!
