Final examination: written, close-book. Do not bring a calculator. Tuesday, May 18, 2004, 8-10a.m., in CHM1407.

 

Electronic Circuits Design Laboratory; (2 credits) Grade Method: REG.
Prerequisite: ENEE 302. For ENEE majors 09090 only. Not open to students who have completed ENEE 413. Formerly ENEE 413. Students will design, construct and test analog and digital circuits at the transistor level. Bipolar and field effect transistors will be covered. Circuits designed will include common emitter and differential amplifiers, active filter, TTL and CMOS logic gates. Students should gain much of the background required for the design of modern microelectronic circuits.

Grading method: 90% laboratory reports, and 10% written final examination.

You need to do your personal "pre-lab" work and turn it in at the beginning of each laboratory. No late “Pre-lab” work is accepted. Only one copy of the laboratory report is to be turned in by each two-person team.

 

The 90% laboratory score (15% for each experiment, 6 experiments total) is based on your pre- and post-lab reports, as well as your performance --- 5% pre-lab report; 5% laboratory involvement/activity, and 5% post-lab report.  The report should have circuit diagrams, data, discussion, and answers to the questions --- as complete and logical as possible. Each report is to be turned in one week after each experiment. Your performance evaluation (5%) during the laboratory is based on attendance and whether you are actively involved in circuit construction, troubleshooting, and measurement.
