Each week, please answer the following questions for the speaker(s) who
presented the topic that you answered questions on in your pre-seminar report.
Summarize your responses to approximately one paragraph for each question.
- List the name of the speaker.
- What do you believe was the best part of the speaker's ORAL presentation?
- How can the speaker improve the ORAL presentation?
- What do you believe was the best part of the speaker's VISUAL presentation?
(e.g. the Vu-graphs)
- How can the speaker improve the VISUAL presentation?
- How would you compare the focus of the presentation to your answers
in the pre-seminar report? (For example: did you discuss the same or
different strengths? if different, are you both right? Or did the
presenter miss something? Or did the presenter identify something you
missed?)
The answers will be compiled and forwarded to the presenters, with your name
removed. So please be honest. This feedback is designed to accomplish
two things:
- Help other students improve their presentation skills
- By analyzing other speakers, become more aware of mistakes you
might make in your own presentations, so that you can also improve.
These answers must be electronically submitted by the Thursday following
the Tuesday seminar, at 11:59pm.
