Spring 2000, Prof. D. Stewart |

Your answers should be submitted electronically, as an ASCII file with the date of the presentation, using 3-letter month abbreviation and two-digit days. Append the word "pre" or "post" depending on whether it is the pre-seminar or post-seminar submission. Put a .txt extension on all files. That is, the filenames for each week would be the following:
Please use these EXACT filenames (including case), as electronic scripts will be used to parse them. To Electronically Submit these files, run the program:
All files are time-stamped; these time-stamps will be used for determining whether a submission was on-time or late. If you submit the same filename more than once, ONLY THE LAST COPY will remain. Thus, if you submit a file, and you later decide to modify your answer, you can re-submit. Note, however, that the time-stamp of the file will also be the later time, and thus do not resubmit any files after the submission deadline. Please test the electronic submission as soon as possible by sending a file called "name.txt", that includes your name and student I.D. number. If you encounter any errors, send email to dstewart@eng.umd.edu explaining the problem. This should be done at least two days prior to your first electronic submission due date, to ensure adequate time to fix problems. |
