Week 1 & 2

Good understanding of vector algebra and vector calculus is essential in this course. In these two weeks, please take some time to review Chapter 2 of the textbook, especially on gradient, divergence, curl and their related theorems.

If you feel that the coverage on certain topics in Chapter 2 is too brief, you may need to refer to a maths textbook. This review will be very helpful throughout the course.
