Time:  45 minutes.

This exam is closed notes, closed book, and no electronic devices of any kind (except a watch – no cellphones).  You may, however, have one sheet of notes (written on both sides).  You must write all your answers in an approved test booklet; any answers on the actual test sheet will be ignored.

Label all relevant points on graphs, axes and variables.  If you use variable substitutions, they must be restated at the end with the final answer or they are simply wrong.  No kidding.

Circle all final answers so there is NO ambiguity about which expression or graph is your final answer.  Partial credit will only be given if it is clear to me what you are doing.  Do not be afraid to write (in words) what you are thinking or doing. Please note that writing a final answer with no other explanation is NOT acceptable.  You must explain how you arrived at your answer and convince me that you know HOW to solve the problem.  The final answer does not carry all of the points.

If you do not solve the problems in order, put an indication in the booklet where to find your answer.  If we miss seeing your answer and it is not in order, you will not receive points once the exams have been handed back.
