Career Resources & Opportunities
Electrical and Computer Engineering graduates are highly sought after for employment in industry and governmental labs. Recent graduates are now working for employers such as Texas Instruments, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, Intel, IBM, Microsoft, NASA and the Naval Research Laboratory. ECE graduate students often go on to tenure track teaching positions at distinguished universities.
The Engineering Co-op & Career Services Office assists students in finding co-op, internship, summer, and post-graduation engineering positions. Services include a jobs database, Careers4Engineers, resume clinics, career fairs, employer information sessions, and a variety of workshops for job seekers. Visit them at 1131 Glenn L. Martin Hall or call (301)405-3863, for more information.
In addition to the fall and spring campus career fairs, the ECE Career Fair takes place in February each year, and offers a wide range of employers specifically targeting ECE undergraduate and graduate students.
