TRW, Inc., is the newest member of the department’s Industrial Affiliates Program.

Based in Fairfax, Va., TRW is the systems integration arm of the parent TRW heaquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. The Fairfax branch is a leader in the development and application of systems engineering, systems integration, signal processing systems, intelligence analysis technology, hardware manufacturing and testing, infomation systems and software development. The company provides these services for defense, civil federal, international, commercial, state and local government markets.

TRW has a history of support for both research and education in the department. Mr. Ray Godman, Jr., a University Liaison Executive at TRW, is on the Department of Electrical Engineering’s Advisory Board.
