New Staff Member

Ms. Allison Vukovich joined the department as Coordinator for Block Research Grants. Vukovich came to the department from the campus Office of Research Administration, where she was a Contract Administrator. She was previously employed by the Institute for Systems Research.

Vukovich will be responsible for the administration of contracts the department has with the Laboratory for Physical Sciences.

Student Award

Paul Sayles, a senior in the Department of Electrical Engineering, is the recipient of an Outstanding Contribution Award, for his work on the The Pinball Machine Project. The award is presented by the Departments of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and the A. James Clark School of Engineering. The Pinball Machine Project, sponsored by the Lockheed Martin Corporation, is an Advanced Student Team Project.
