Geoffrey Y. Li, a former ECE postdoctoral assistant, has been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Li, now Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, worked with Professor K.J. Ray Liu (ECE/ISR) for two years at the University of Maryland before moving on to AT&T Research, and later joining the faculty at Georgia Tech.

Election to IEEE Fellow honors engineering professionals with extraordinary records of accomplishment. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for election to IEEE Fellow.

More information on IEEE Fellows can be found at: www.ieee.org.
