Transfer Students

Students transferring to the University of Maryland will have their courses evaluated by advisors in the Engineering Student Affairs office to determine which requirements in the electrical or computer engineering curriculum that have been completed. Prior to enrolling in any 300 level electrical engineering and computer science course, students must complete all lower level courses, including Math 140 and 141, Chemistry 113, and Physics 161. Also, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Exceptions can be made for transfer students on a case by case basis. Please speak with the staff in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Undergraduate office.
