I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Maryland. I expect to graduate in August 2008. My research adviser is Prof. Min Wu. I am working on various problems related to information security and multimedia forensics. To learn more about my research, visit my research page.

In summer of 2006, I worked with the Mobile and Media Systems Lab at Hewlett Packard, Palo Alto, CA, on projects related to Digital Rights Management and developed a content distribution model. From June to August 2007, I worked with Microsft Research Labs in Redmond, WA. I previously graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

I also served as the President of Academic Affairs in the ECE Graduate Student Association. During my tenure, ECEGSA won the Golden Geese award for the best student organization on campus. For more information about ECEGSA and its activities click here.
